Joanne Bond, principal of Joanne Bond Coaching, LLC, is a certified executive leadership coach. She coaches business leaders in mapping and attaining their personal and professional intentions, enhancing their leadership presence, evolving to their next level of development, and building and sustaining resiliency. Joanne has over 30 years’ experience working with local, national and international leaders in diverse business climates as well as individual entrepreneurs engaging in business start-up and growth.
Joanne devotes time supporting growth and development of people from all kinds of backgrounds and life experiences. For example, she supports entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, has written blogs for My Own Business Institute (MOBI) at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business as part of their free education offering to entrepreneurs around the world, periodically offers retreats and workshops specifically for women moving through life transitions, and partners with individuals moving through work and/or life transitions.
Joanne’s model for approaching development is from the frame of emotional intelligence. Effective leadership, both personally and professionally, is dependent on self-awareness, self-management and resiliency in order to manifest mutually satisfying relationships. Additionally, energy management is critical to being your best self and making your most effective decisions as often as possible.
She has a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders and started her career as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She is now a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, receiving her Executive Leadership Coaching Certification from the prestigious Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara. She is certified in several leadership assessments such as the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®).
